What Is Managed Services?
The definition of "Managed Services" varies from one provider to the next. We have a very simple definition for the Managed Services we provide:
"Monitoring & managing your IT systems, and providing Technical Support to your staff, freeing you to focus on building your business."
Typically, a Managed Service offering will include both "behind the scenes" services, such as remote management and monitoring of key devices, as well as a Technical Support help desk service. Managed Service pricing is then based upon the number of "devices" (workstations, servers, network equipment etc) or "users" (the number of staff in the organisation).
Who Is Managed Services For?
Like most professional services, IT Managed Services is
not suitable for every business. So we want to help you make an informed decision as to whether working with a professional Managed Services company like OmniSupport may be a "good fit" for
your business, based on your specific situation.
If the following describes your business, then it may make sense for you to download the info pack on this page:
- 5 to 99 staff
- Internal staff performing Technical Support
- One or more servers
- No interest in being known for its "IT Support skills"
How Can Managed Services Help?
Customised Managed Service offerings can help you overcome one or more of the four biggest IT issues you may be grappling with today:
- High support costs
- IT security threats
- Technical issues take too long to be resolved
- IT resourcing headaches
